Fusha
The Island është sezoni i 16-të i shfaqjes së realitetit MTV, The Challenge. Ky sezon është direkt pasues i The Gauntlet III. Si sezonet e mëparshme të The Challenge, The Island përfshiu anëtarë të kastit nga sezonet e kaluara të The Real World dhe Road Rules, nga të cilat The Challenge është një spin-off, duke konkurruar së bashku me disa anëtarë të kastit nga sfida Fresh Meat. Ky sezon prezantoi konkurrentët "të bllokuar" në një ishull pranë bregdetit të Panamasë, ku kastat konkurrente luftuan për një kutie të thesarit të groposur të mbushur me 300,000 dollarë USD në ar. Ndryshe nga sfidat e mëparshme, kastat nuk u vendosën në një banesë luksoze, por u "detyruan" të improvizon dhe të "punonin" për nevojat bazë si ushqimi dhe strehimi, si në serialin TV Survivor. Ndryshe nga sezonet e mëparshme të The Challenge, nuk kishte skuadra të parapërcaktuara. Në vend të kësaj, anëtarët e kastit duhet të ndërtonin aleanca të tyre. Nga njëzet anëtarë të kastit, vetëm katër fituan. The Island u transmetua premierë më 10 shtator 2008 dhe përfundoi më 29 tetor 2008.
