Giddings u bashkua me Jethro Tull në vitin 1991, duke zëvendësuar Maartin Allcock. Ai luajti në albumet Catfish Rising, Jethro Tull In Concert, The Beacons Bottom Tapes, Roots to Branches, J-Tull Dot Com, Living with the Past, The Jethro Tull Christmas Album dhe Aqualung Live. Ai bëri turne me grupin në të gjithë botën deri në vitin 2007, kur u zëvendësua nga John O’Hara
